The 28th of October coincides with the anniversary in which the prominent African Freedom Fighter, Nelsen Mandela had decorated the Leader of the Revolution on this same day of 1997 with the " Good Hope " Golden Medal, the highest decoration granted by South Africa to honor those who had made great contributions to support the struggle of South African people to confront the apartheid regime.
The African Freedom Fighter, Nelson Mandela has come to Great Jamahiriya on that day specially to decorate the Leader with this sublime medal . The decoration took place in a huge celebration at a hall that was named since then " Mandela Hall " in the city of Zawara, of al-Niqat al-Khams Shabia.
This distinctive decoration by the great African Freedom Fighter, Nelson Mandela came to prove the pioneering rule played by the Leader of the Revolution in liberating the African continent from colonialism and racism, as well as his support for peoples struggle in defending their just causes for the sake of freedom peace and development.
