The 20th Arab summit demanded the British government to release all the documents sought by the defence for the hostage's political Libyan citizen "Abdel Basset Al-Megrahi," in front of the Scottish Committee for review the legal issues.

The summit assured in the resolution for dealing with the damages and the procedures arising from the dispute over the Lockerbie issue which issued in the conclusion of its works in Damascus yesterday, that the British Government not to release these documents is as miscarriage of justice and an obstacle to the innocence of the political hostage the Libyan citizen "Abdel Basset Al-Megrahi".
