37 publishing houses, research centers and universities, with more than three thousand titles, are taking part in Libya book fair which commenced at Tripoli International Fair yesterday.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Secretary of Foreign Affairs at the General People?s Congress, the Secretary of the General people?s Committee for Culture, coordinators of People?s Leadership, and a number of diplomatic missions accredited to the Great Jamahiriya.
Speeches were made during the ceremony where speakers stressed the need to organize such fairs in order to present culture to every one.
The five day fair aims to offer books to interested people and make it easy to obtain. Seminars, round tables, and drawing exhibitions are scheduled be held in sideline with the fair.
