General Culture Council's Conference Concludes its Works by Approving the Cultural Map for this Year

The General Culture Council's conference has approved in its regular meeting for 2007 held in the city of Sert the local and external cultural map for Great Jamahiriya for the 2007 and which includes several cultural activities .
During this meeting which was attended by the Secretary of GPC for Culture and Information Deputy Chairman of the Council and members of the council it approved the sponsorship of several festivals to be organized at the Shabias level in addition to organizing specialized festivals for plastic arts and cinema besides supporting writers and book in Great Jamahiriya
The Council decided to grant alFatah Prizes in Literature Arts Heritage Journalism Child Literature .
The Secretary of GPC for Culture and Information congratulated at the out set of Conference the Leader of the Revolution on the 38th anniversary of Great alFatah Revolution .
He underlined in his address that Great alFatah Revolution is a revolution of liberation freedom and Cultural Revolution inspired by the Thinker the Leader that enlightened the minds of his comrades and disciples and opened wide horizons for freedom and creativity before the masses.
He added The culture of creativity established by the Leader Muammar alGathafi freed all creative energies and skills to be materialized in reality in order to transform from the culture of backwardness to that of creativity and freedom and that our great revolution under the leadership of our Leader Muammar alGathafi has introduced to the world the best example in final salvation of humanity from all forms of backwardness and domination.
He underlined the importance of integrating between the General Culture Council and the GPC for Culture and Information and all cultural institutions in order to reach the cultural objectives inspired from the principles and ideas of our Leader Muammar alGathafi.

General Endowment and Zakat Affairs Board Honors the Libyan Student Mustafa Juimah Mutawie

General Endowment and Zakat Affairs Board has honored Tuesday the Libyan Student Mustafa Juimah Mutawie Who Won the First Place in the 24th Competition for Memorization of the Holy Quran at the Muslim World Level held in Iran from 10 14 of this month.

Secretary of People's Committee of the Board congratulated the mentioned student for winning first place in this competition highlighting the constant care accorded by alFatah Revolution to the memorizers of the Holy Quran of both male and female.

He underlined that such honorable international results came in line with the care and encouragement of the Leader of the Revolution.
The Libyan student is from Musrata Shabia he was born in 1986 He has taken part in the outstanding students' course for the memorizers of the Holy Quran organized by the General Endowment and Zakat Affairs Board during the last month of July to sleek their talents and qualify them to be able to participate in the international Holy Quran competitions.

The extension of the registration period for players' football teams

The General Union of Libyan football announced on the extension of the registration of players for the sport season 2007-2008 to the 20th of Alfatah instead of the previous schedule.

The Resolution came after postponing the start of the league to next Alfatah month to provide an opportunity for local teams and the Great Jamahiriya team football to continue preparations for the local and international competitions.
